Potluck
All-natural Korean pantry staples, traditionally fermented in onggi.
About the Business
Potluck makes all-natural Korean pantry staples rooted in the traditional flavors and techniques of Korea. We create thoughtfully made products like Gochujang, Ssamjang, and Doenjang for home cooks who want to bring authentic Korean flavor into everyday meals without compromising on ingredients. Our products are traditionally fermented in onggi in Korea and are made without corn syrup, preservatives or fillers.
We created Potluck to offer a more natural take on Korean pantry staples while honoring the food traditions, ingredients, and craftsmanship behind them. Our products are versatile enough for everyday cooking, whether you’re making a Korean dish from scratch or simply adding a little more flavor to a familiar meal.
Jen Arsenault
Jen Arsenault is the founder of Potluck, an all-natural Korean pantry staples brand. She started Potluck after noticing a gap between the Korean food she grew up with and what was available on American grocery shelves. In 2024, Potluck launched with Gochujang (sweet rice red chili paste) and Ssamjang (Korean BBQ sauce) and has since grown into more than 200 retail locations. The brand’s Jang Trio was recently selected as one of Bon Appétit’s 2026 Pantry Award winners, one of just 40 products recognized.
Jen is passionate about building culturally meaningful brands and bringing Korean food to more American kitchens. When she’s not working, she’s in the kitchen, spending time with her one-year-old son, or hunting for vintage furniture.
