Sun & Swell Foods is a B-Corp on a mission to eliminate single-use plastic from the snack food industry. We make delicious, better-for-you snacks with simple, real ingredients, packaged in plant-based, home compostable packaging.

While our snacks are made for everyone, today we primarily serve hotels, corporate offices, and other businesses looking to offer more sustainable snack options to their guests and employees.

We believe you shouldn't have to choose between convenience, your health, and the health of the planet. Our goal is to transform an industry that has relied on disposable plastic for far too long, one snack at a time.

For the first 10 years of my career, I followed a traditional path to success: business school, corporate jobs, management consulting. But by 2018, I was burnt out. A yoga retreat at Esalen in Big Sur gave me the courage to quit my job without a plan.

I never intended to become an entrepreneur. I started Sun & Swell Foods because I couldn't find the healthy, clean-ingredient snacks I wanted to eat. What began as a simple idea evolved into a bigger mission: eliminating single-use plastic from the snack food industry.

Along the way, I became a mom to two kids (6 and 4), which changed how I define success. I'm still ambitious, but also want a slower, more intentional life. I want to build something meaningful, be present for the little moments, and show my kids they can create a life on their own terms.

After 20 years in California, where we launched Sun & Swell in Santa Barbara (hence the name!), I recently moved to Austin, TX with my husband (and co-founder), our kids, and our labradoodle to be closer to family.
