Belinda Lau is co-founder at ELIMS Oral Care, a sustainable oral care brand she built alongside her husband, Dr. Casey Lau, DDS. After 15+ years at Medtronic leading product development across spinal surgery and diabetes care, and earning five U.S. patents along the way, Belinda channeled her engineering rigor into a new mission: reimagining oral care as clean, effective, and planet-friendly. She holds a dual degree in Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from UCLA Anderson. Bootstrapped from day one, ELIMS has grown into a WBENC-certified, woman-owned business selling nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste and bamboo-based products through Amazon, Shopify, and the Henry Schein dental network. Belinda leads with both head and heart, donating products to families affected by the 2025 LA wildfires and local homelessness organizations. A mother of three based in Los Angeles, she is building ELIMS as proof that thoughtful, science-backed products can be good for people and the planet.
