Ira Kaganovsky is an entrepreneur, speaker, breast cancer survivor, immigrant from Kyiv, Ukraine, and single mother of three whose story is built around resilience and reinvention. After coming to America at age five, Ira became a college dropout who built a successful career in finance, eventually building and selling her first company. Her second company, FREEDOM™, began in her kitchen after three close friends were diagnosed with breast cancer. What started as a natural deodorant grew into a clean body care brand serving hundreds of luxury spas, airlines, and leading hospitality brands. Then Ira faced an extraordinary twist: she was diagnosed with breast cancer herself. Nearly two years of chemotherapy, radiation, and seven surgeries followed. While raising three daughters and fighting to “slay the cancer dragon,” Ira rebuilt FREEDOM and made it stronger. Today, she speaks on entrepreneurship, sales, women’s health, resilience, and sustainable high performance, challenging audiences to stop believing success requires sacrificing their health. Her message: sometimes the smartest way to move forward is to lean back, take care of yourself first, and then come back stronger.
