Dr. Ronak Mehta is a family medicine physician and the founder of Nerdbugs, a health education brand that transforms health conversations into lovable, huggable plush organs.

After years in medicine, she noticed that conversations about the body often carried fear, stigma, or confusion. Determined to change that, she set out to make health education more human and a lot more fun.

What began as a small creative idea has grown into a mission to help people understand their bodies, celebrate differences, and feel a little more seen along the way. Today, Nerdbugs plushies bring comfort and curiosity to hospital rooms, exam rooms, classrooms, and homes, helping spark conversations that make learning about health a little easier and a lot more kind.
