I'm Lauren Blanco, an entrepreneur fueled by leaving the world better than I found it. I co-founded Markham & Fitz, starting in a rented kitchen with handmade equipment in 2014 and a dream to build something meaningful from scratch. Today, our bean-to-bar chocolate company celebrates over 12 years of impact with distribution across the nation and international awards.

I believe business can be a force for good. I built Markham & Fitz with the goal of expanding the market for craft chocolate, an essential role in building a more equitable cacao supply chain that leaves more in farmers’ hands. I believe in sustainable sourcing, building brands with soul, and prioritizing people and planet alongside profit. That mindset has fueled some of our Oprah-level wins and taught me that real growth comes when impact is formulated into the systems we build.
