Dr. Lynna Van Merkey is the founder of V Coterie, a design-led jewelry and accessories brand creating meaningful products at the intersection of healthcare culture, professional identity, and self-expression. A dentist and entrepreneur, Lynna founded V Coterie to celebrate the people behind healthcare through artful interpretations of the culture and experiences that define the profession. Under her leadership, V Coterie grew into a distinctive brand, challenging traditional notions of professional identity and bringing creativity and innovation to an industry ripe for disruption. In May 2026, V Coterie was acquired by FIGS, bringing Lynna’s vision to a global healthcare platform. Today, Lynna serves as Head of Charms, Pins & Jewelry at FIGS, building The CHARxMACY and expanding on storytelling and self-expression within the healthcare community. Lynna received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where she was recognized with the William S. Kramer Award and inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
