We serve interior designers, architects, hospitality brands and design-minded homeowners looking for distinctive alternatives to generic décor. We started Rochelle Porter Design to create products that make everyday spaces more joyful, expressive and connected to the people who use them. Through bold pattern, thoughtful production and a global point of view, we design interiors that feel as good as they look.

I’ve never met a blank surface I didn’t want to draw on. That lifelong habit became Rochelle Porter Design, a vibrant, sustainability-focused wallcoverings and textiles studio known for bold color, original patterns, and plenty of personality. My hand-drawn designs are shaped by my Caribbean roots, Scandinavian simplicity, West African geometry, travel, nature, and whatever else catches my eye.

I didn’t take a traditional path to entrepreneurship. I started my career as a computer programmer and discovered surface pattern design years later. With a lot of curiosity, persistence, and learning as I went, I turned my doodles into a small collection of organic cotton pillows. That collection grew into a design business whose work has been sold by major retailers and used in corporate, hospitality, and community spaces.

Today, I’m focused on growing RPD’s commercial wallcovering and textile business. I believe the places around us should make us feel something, and that responsible design does not have to be beige or boring. My goal is to create products that bring more color, joy, and originality to the places where people live, work, gather, heal, and recharge. I call it “Design for Abundant Living.”
