Djenaba Johnson-Jones
Djenaba Johnson-Jones is the founder and CEO of Hudson Kitchen, a New Jersey-based food business incubator and shared commercial kitchen. Her food-industry journey began in 2014, when she decided to start her own business and recognized the need for licensed kitchen space, practical education, and a clearer route to market for early-stage food founders.
She launched Hudson Kitchen in 2015, initially building community through workshops, consultations, and networking events. In 2019, she expanded the business by opening Hudson Kitchen’s commercial production facility. Since then, Djenaba has continued to develop Hudson Kitchen into an ecosystem for packaged food founders that combines commercial infrastructure, education, community, and accountability. Her work is centered on creating stronger pathways for entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into sustainable food businesses.
