Caitlin Murphy is the Founder and CEO of Global Gateway Logistics (GGL), a woman-owned freight forwarder and licensed NVOCC she built in Saint Louis to bring clarity and accountability to an industry that too often delivers neither. She started GGL on a conviction that freight forwarding should feel like a partnership, not a transaction, and turned it into a business model: a dedicated, high-touch team paired with a transparent customer portal, giving importers and exporters visibility and predictable costs. Nine years later, roughly 90 percent of new business comes by referral and 90 percent of her team is female. Caitlin advocates for women in legacy industries, has served on the board of Plymouth Industrial REIT (NYSE: PLYM), and leads Gateway for Good, GGL's philanthropic arm.
