About the Business

City Mom Collective is a nationwide media agency and network of 100+ locally owned parenting websites, connecting brands with highly engaged audiences of moms through hyperlocal content, digital advertising, social media, influencer marketing, and community-based campaigns. Through a unique local ownership model, City Mom Collective empowered women entrepreneurs to build trusted media brands in their own communities while benefiting from the resources, relationships, and reach of a national network. The company partnered with both national and local brands to create authentic marketing campaigns designed to reach moms where they lived, worked, parented, and connected.

Stephanie Flies

I’m an entrepreneur, leader, and community builder who believes deeply in the power of connection and investing in others.

In 2010, I co-founded Scottsdale Moms Blog, which grew from one local parenting website into City Mom Collective—a nationwide network of more than 100 locally owned parenting websites. Over 15 years, I had the privilege of building and leading the organization while helping more than 100 women launch and grow businesses in their own communities and creating paid opportunities for countless other moms.

In 2025, I sold City Mom Collective and transitioned out of the company I had spent 15 years building—an exciting and bittersweet milestone in my entrepreneurial journey.

Today, I’m bringing what I learned through entrepreneurship into a new season, investing my time and experience in a small local nonprofit where I help strengthen the organization, develop leaders, build community, and expand its impact.
